I agree with the others who have already posted. If you are a fan of Alicia's then you will love this new album. Its rare that I like an album on the first listen but I can honestly say that was the case here.
Welcome back Alicia!

5 out of 5 stars Pure Class Throughout   January 30, 2010
Mike Hailwood (London, UK)
Wow! Don't know where to start with this review; lost for words, which is very unusual! The album has to be noted as of the albums of the year. Every song is winner with several stand out tracks; Empire State Of Mind (Part II), Doesn't Mean Anything, Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart & Put It In A Love Song (featuring Beyoncé) to name just a few. Alicia Keys has just grown to be a very class act, I'm sure anyone who has seen her live would agree? A highly recommended album to buy and Amazon's price was unbeatable when I purchased my copy.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent   December 15, 2009

It was going to be difficult for Alicia Keys to make another excellent album, but she has done it. I love every track. She is back and on form.

5 out of 5 stars Alicia an amazing musician   January 9, 2010
BillieJean (london)
This album is beautiful, the stand out tracks are-wait till you see my smile-thats how strong my love is-doesn't mean anything--emipre state(a.keys version is better than the version with jay-z) and try sleeping with a broken heart. I also like her track with beyonce, its not alicia type of music but its hot I can see it being played in the clubs, alicia and beyonce are two singers in different genres so its great that they could work together they are both talented ladies, although its more like a beyonce song very upbeat with some piano
Alicia is a real musician she is not a manufactured product like rihanna or cheryl cole so its not everyone's cup of tea neither is it aimed at the vast market. This album is one of the best of 2009, but the best alicia keys album has to be The diary of alicia keys.

5 out of 5 stars New Alicia Keys Album   January 28, 2010
Mr. Joel S. Greenhalgh (UK)
I think this is a fantastic new album by Alicia Keys, one of her best. I really like her pure natural sounding voice. I like every track on the album aswell, my favourite tracks include: Doesn't Mean Anything, Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart and Put It In A Love Song (Featuring Beyonce). I highly recommend this album!!
